Minimum Bidding

Minimum Bidding Tiers allow buyers to set automatic bids on listings that meet their criteria. This feature simplifies bidding and ensures you never miss out on vehicles within your budget and distance preferences. Here’s a step-by-step guide for setting up Minimum Bids on both the web and mobile platforms.

 

During Onboarding (WEB)

Step 1:

  • Access Minimum Bidding during Buyer Onboarding:
    • While in Onboarding, select the “Interested” button when prompted.
  • Set Your Criteria:
    You’ll be presented with two fields to complete:
    • Distance from your location: Enter the maximum distance you're willing to travel for a vehicle.
    • Automatic Bid Amount: Enter the maximum amount you’re willing to bid on a vehicle.
      • Note: The minimum allowable bid is $100.
  • Save Your Tiers:
    Once you’ve entered your preferences, click the “Next” button to save your Minimum Bid Tiers.

Step 2: 

  • Define Daily Limits:
    After setting your Minimum Bid Tiers, you’ll see the Daily Limit field on the “Daily Minimum Bid Limit” page.
    • Daily Limit: Specify the maximum number of wins per day for automatic bids.
      • Note : This field is optional.
  • Save and Continue:
    Click the “Next” button to proceed. This will return you to the Phone Number step in the Buyer Onboarding process.

Android and iOS

  • Access Minimum Bidding Settings:
    • From the mobile app, navigate to the “Minimum Bidding” option in your profile or settings.
  • Enable Automatic Bidding:
    • Toggle the “Automatic Bidding Enabled” option to activate automatic bids.
  • Create Your Minimum Bid Tiers:
    • Set your preferences for Distance from your location and Automatic Bid Amount, just like on the web.
  • Set Your Daily Limit:
    • Add a Daily Limit for the maximum number of wins you want daily.
  • Save Your Settings:
    • Once done, select “Save” to confirm your Minimum Bid Tiers and Daily Limit.

Key Notes:

  • Minimum Bids apply to all listing types that match your criteria.
  • Listings within your range and threshold will automatically receive your pre-set bid.
  • Daily limits ensure you don’t exceed your desired number of wins in a single day.
