If you’re a buyer and encounter an issue with a listing after winning it, QuickAuction provides an easy way to dispute the listing. Whether it's an incorrect vehicle description, issues with paperwork, or other discrepancies, you can submit a dispute for review. Here’s how the process works and what to expect.
Step 1: View Listing Details
After you’ve won a listing, you can view additional details such as:
- Winning Bid Amount
- Control Number
- Vehicle Year, Make, and Model
- Distance to Pick Up the Vehicle
If you find that any of this information is incorrect or doesn't match what was listed, you have the option to dispute the listing.
Step 2: Select “Dispute Listing”
As a buyer, if you believe that any of the information provided is incorrect, you can select the “Dispute Listing” option.
You’ll be presented with a list of options to describe your dispute, including an option for "Other" in the event your specific issue is not provided.
Step 3: Review Vehicle Details and Submit Dispute
Before submitting your dispute, you’ll be able to:
- Review the Vehicle Details to ensure they’re accurate.
- Choose the Reason for your dispute from the available categories.
- Add Additional Notes to clarify the issue, if necessary.
Once you’ve reviewed all the details, click “Submit” to send your dispute.
Important Note:
If you try to submit the dispute without filling out the Additional Notes section, you will receive an Error Message prompting you to complete the required fields. This ensures that all necessary information is provided before the dispute is submitted.
Step 4: Dispute Resolution Process
After submitting your dispute:
- You will be directed to the “Dispute Pending” page, where you can track the status of your claim.
- The dispute will remain in Pending status for 48 hours while the issue is reviewed.
- After the 48-hour period, the dispute will either be Approved or Denied.
Step 5: Dispute Outcome
Once the dispute is resolved:
- If the dispute is approved, any Buyer Fee associated with the Listing will be refunded.
